Virtual Incubator — Social Enterprise Greenhouse

About the Program

  • We are offering a new Virtual Incubator to help motivated entrepreneurs turn their ideas into action. This Incubator is for anyone who has an idea for launching a business or nonprofit that will help themselves, their family, and their community. 

  • This program is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to develop a strategy for supplementing their income and for people who have always wanted to explore the viability of starting their own business.  

  • Incubator participants will meet twice a week via Zoom for 5 weeks. After completion of the program, participants will continue to build community, provide peer support, and share developments through annual reunions, SEG events, and self-organized meetups. SEG will provide administrative support for continued engagement post-program.


  • Applications open on July 10th

  • Application deadline on September 1st

  • Program start date September 4th

    • The program runs September 4th to October 19th

    • Monday & Thursdays from 2-4 pm


    • You cannot miss more than two workshops.

    • Hand in required documentation prior to first workshop

      • DLT Form

      • Community Commitment

      • EDA Survey (if applicable)

    • Fill out feedback forms at the end of each workshop and post-incubator program

    Our company has more ideas than it can execute on, and we will look to you to assess, prioritize, and execute on these ideas. We are looking for you to hit the ground running and push things forward and review progress on a quarterly basis.

    We know we’ve been looking at this way too long ourselves. You must be comfortable proposing new ideas and directions to senior leadership and backing those ideas up with experience or research.

    Essential to this role is knowledge of the digital space. You are at or ahead of the curve on marketing technology trends, analytics, and more. SEO, paid search, email, webinars and marketing automation tools are all in your repertoire.

    While you will have an outstanding support group of strategists, designers, and developers, you bring at least a little to the table in each area. You’re comfortable throwing together a sketch, you might even write a little code.

    Not only will you contribute to telling the story of Oomph, but also the story of our work with clients in the form of case studies, client testimonials, and more. You’re not just comfortable outlining the story, but getting it down on paper so that each word is just right.

    Nabbing another industry award, landing a new speaking opportunity for a team member, launching a new campaign and celebrating the first conversion. These things make you tick.

    More importantly than anything else, you understand our business and the value we bring to our clients. In this regard, past agency experience is highly desired.
